Alexandre Malucelli
Alexandre Malucelli is the Vice-President of Grupo JMalucelli, and Vice-president of JMalucelli Seguradora.
Having a degree in Business Administration from UNICEMP – Faculdade Positivo (PR), Malucelli has been working at Grupo J. Malucelli since 1980, being active in the management of many companies of the group. He followed Paraná Banco´s birth and development until the moment he was appointed coordinator of the opening of J. Malucelli Seguradora S/A (an insurance company) in 1991, where he has been the leading person. With 17 years of experience in the insurance area, 12 have been in the Warranty sector. Active participant of the development of Warranty Insurance in Brazil, he took J. Malucelli to the sector’s leadership as early as 1997 and developed many projects related to Warranty Insurance, especially in areas such as Road Concession, Agribusiness, Furniture, Judiciary, Energy and many others. Member of the PASA - Panamerican Surety Association executive committee, he has given speeches about the Brazilian market of Warranty Insurance in countries like South Africa, Chile, Panama, United States of America and Equator.
Alexandre Malucelli and João Marcos Prosdócimo were the most important people, from GRUPO JMalucelli, in the idealization and creation of JMalucelli & CMC Ambiental.
João Marcos Moro Prosdócimo
João Marcos is a Mechanical Engineer, businessman and business consultant.
Main professional activities: as a Partner/Director of Arc Plus, participated in the development of products, with offices in Zürich and Curitiba; for 17 years, he was Partner/CEO of Plastipar Ind. e Com. Ltda. (mechanics, plastics, metals, galvanoplasty); for 14 years, as Refrigeração Paraná´s Technical and Industrial Director, he was responsible for the Development of Products area and the White Line production; for 6 years, as Planning and Marketing Vice-President of Umuarama Administração de Bens e Participações Ltda., a Holding of the Prosdócimo Group, João Prosdócimo coordinated the activities of Prosdócimo Makes/Companies / Sanyo / Clímax / White Westinghouse / Suat / WAP / Prosdócimo National Consortium.
Nowadays, João Marcos is a partner in Moro/Deconto Ind. de Artigos Esportivos (national leader in the market of Sport Fishing products) and a Product and Business Director of Paraná Banco.
João Marcos Prosdócimo and Alexandre Malucelli were the most important people, from GRUPO JMalucelli, in the idealization and creation of JMalucelli & CMC Ambiental.
Leonardo Cabral Barrionuevo
Leonardo Barrionuevo took “International Business with Emphasis in Marketing” at the San Diego State University – USA, and received his degree in Law from Unibrasil - Faculdades Integradas do Brasil. Presently, he is one of the participants of the 1st Postgraduate Course in Climate Change and CO2 Sequestration in Brazil.
Having been interested in the Carbon Credit Market since his first years at the University, Barrionuevo began to dedicate himself exclusively to this area around 2006, when, together with Eduardo Covas Barrionuevo, he dreamt up and founded CDM Carbon Consult, a company that became known as the most important international agent of CMC GROUP in Brazil. Later, their company joined Grupo JMalucelli to create JMalucelli & CMC Ambiental.
Leonardo Barrionuevo has dedicated the experience and knowledge acquired in his professional life to generate business in the Carbon Credits area, while coordinating and conducting CDM projects.
Eduardo Covas Barrionuevo
Eduardo Covas Barrionuevo received his Law degree from the Catholic Pontifical University of Paraná, and has a post-graduate degree in Corporate Law and Economic Criminal Law from the same institution. Presently, he is one of the participants of the 1st Postgraduate Course in Climate Change and CO2 Sequestration in Brazil.
After practicing Corporate Law for approximately 7 years, when he acquired significant practical knowledge about Environmental Law, International Law, and Economic and Financial Law, Barrionuevo began to dedicate himself to the Carbon Credit Market around 2006. Together with Leonardo Barrionuevo, he dreamt up and founded CDM Carbon Consult, a company that became known as the most important international agent of CMC GROUP for Brazil. Later, their company joined the JMalucelli GROUP to create JMalucelli & CMC Ambiental

Fernando O’Reilly Cabral Barrionuevo
Fernando Barrionuevo received his Law degree from the Catholic Pontifical University of Paraná, and has a post-graduate degree in Corporate Law, Civil Procedural Law and Economic Criminal Law from the same institution. Presently, he is one of the participants of the 1st Postgraduate Course in Climate Change and CO2 Sequestration in Brazil.
A lawyer with expertise in Sports, Telecommunications, and Environmental Law, Fernando Barrionuevo is also a partner at the Pereira Gionédis Advocacia, one of the most important law offices in the south of Brazil, with a professional staff of approximately 30 lawyers.
His comprehensive multidisciplinary juridical knowledge, especially in the corporate area, was fundamental for the creation of CDM Carbon Consult, and it represents a significant differential for JMalucelli & CMC Ambiental in the conduction and management of business opportunities that gravitate around their activities.
Daniel Mehry Sperandio
Daniel Sperandio received his Law degree from the Catholic Pontifical University of Paraná and has a postgraduate degree from the Fundação Escola do Ministério Público do Estado do Paraná (FEMPAR). Presently, he is one of the participants of the 1st Postgraduate Course in Climate Change and CO2 Sequestration in Brazil.
A CDM Carbon Consult collaborator since the beginning of its activities, Sperandio is one of the main people responsible for the operative structure of JMalucelli Ambiental.
Daniel Sperandio has dedicated his experience and knowledge to the activities of JMalucelli & CMC Ambiental in the CDM projects and Carbon Credits area.

Philippe Delhaise - Carbon Finance and Risk Management Expert
CMC CEO Philippe Delhaise conducts the activities of Carbon Finance and Carbon Asset Management, together with Risk Management components. Those areas are organized according with his expertise in financial instruments as well as his knowledge about financial institutions in emerging markets. Philippe Delhaise is a Finance professor in Hong Kong, an expert in cross-border counter-party risk management.
Delhaise is a French citizen, with degrees in Electrical Engineering, Philosophy, and Economy from the Louvain University (Belgium). He also has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
In his long career in finances, Philippe Delhaise has been a strong defender of good management and risk management. He has lived and worked all around Asia and the Middle East since the beginning of the 1970s. He was once General Manager of Belgium’s biggest bank in Hong Kong.
Besides teaching at many European and Asian universities, Philippe Delhaise is a frequent lecturer in international conferences, and has written a series of articles about Asia’s financial risk. He also wrote an acclaimed book about the 1997 financial crisis in Asia.
In the recent years, Delhaise has become more and more worried about sustainable development issues, and decided to dedicate his energy and expertise in finances and engineering to structure projects related to the Kyoto Protocol.
A. K. Perumal, CDM International Expert
Perumal Arumugam is CMC´s chief engineering. Internationally recognized as an expert in methodology, he is a member of the RIT (Registration and Issuance Team). Actually, he is serving in various external expert tasks of the UNFCCC.
A.K. Perumal is a Chemical Engineer, with a postgraduate degree in Energy Management, and the Energy Sector Auditor for the Government of India. His experience is vast in the fields of energy and environmental sustainability, as described in studies of viability studies, new technologies efficiency, renewable energy, cost optimization, waste minimization projects and co-generation of energy in industrial plants.
Benjamin Landreau, Project Coordinator
Benjamim Landreau studied Political Sciences and Information Technology in Geneva, Switzerland, before starting a MBA program in Environmental Administration in Costa Rica. For many years, he worked mainly with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), as an adviser for many countries, like El Salvador, Costa Rica, Comoros and Mauritania.
As a consultant in sustainable development, he acquired his expertise in the implementation of difficult projects in a variety of countries. His contribution for the development of projects on the Clean Development Mechanism regulations is a natural consequence of his analytical abilities derived from his own field experiences.
Latha Sriramoju, Project Engineer
L. Sriramoju is a mecatronics engineer with a postgraduate degree in Energy Systems. She has a vast experience in the management of projects, investment evaluation and development of grid interfaced in renewable energy projects. She has previously promoted Energy Service Companies (ESCOs). Among other activities, Sriramoju developed more than PDDs in the Hydro and Biomass sectors since she started working in the CDM area.
Sebastian Cepeda, Project Manager
Based in Santiago do Chile, Cepeda is an Industrial and Electrical Engineer, with a postgraduate degree in Sociology and many years of experience in Project Management in various engineering companies in Chile.
Carla Gallardo, Project Developer
Carla Gallardo is a Bioprocess Engineer with experience in the development of methods to correct Greenhouse Gas emission inventories. |
